General Standards for CPD Accreditation: 

​

  1. Educational Value: Content must provide significant learning outcomes relevant to professional development in the respective field.

  2. Expertise of Presenters: Presenters should be recognised experts with relevant qualifications and experience.

  3. Quality of Content: Information presented should be accurate, up-to-date, and well-researched.

  4. Engagement: Content should be engaging and structured in a way that promotes active learning.

  5. Accessibility: Ensure that content is accessible to all learners, including those with disabilities.

  6. Feedback and Evaluation: Provide mechanisms for participants to give feedback and assess the learning outcomes.

Specific Guidelines for Individual Episode/event/video CPD Accreditation

  1. Content Relevance: Each episode must cover topics that are directly relevant to the professional development of the target audience.

  2. Learning Objectives: Clearly state the learning objectives at the beginning of each episode.

  3. Duration: Specify the duration of each episode and ensure it aligns with the depth of content.

  4. Assessment: Include a short quiz or assessment at the end of each episode to evaluate the understanding of the content.

  5. Documentation: Provide a detailed outline of the episode, including the script, presenter bios, and references.

  6. CPD Hours: Clearly define the number of CPD hours the episode represents.

  7. Use of CPD Logo: Display the Ability Training Awards CPD logo at the beginning and end of each accredited episode, along with a statement indicating the episode’s CPD accreditation status.

Specific Guidelines for Series/Channel CPD Accreditation 

​

  1. Series Relevance: The series must consistently cover topics relevant to professional development in the field.

  2. Cohesive Learning Objectives: Outline overarching learning objectives for the series or channel and ensure each episode contributes to these objectives.

  3. Consistency in Quality: Maintain a consistent quality of content across all episodes.

  4. Comprehensive Outline: Provide a comprehensive outline of the series, including episode titles, learning objectives, presenter details, and references.

  5. Assessment Strategy: Develop an overall assessment strategy that includes periodic quizzes or assessments to evaluate learning outcomes throughout the series.

  6. Feedback Mechanism: Implement a feedback mechanism for the entire series to gather participant feedback and make necessary improvements.

  7. CPD Hours Allocation: Clearly define the total number of CPD hours the series or channel represents and how they are distributed across episodes.

  8. Use of CPD Logo: Display the Ability Training Awards CPD logo prominently on the series or channel’s main page and at the beginning and end of each accredited episode, along with a statement indicating the series’ CPD accreditation status.

CPD Logo Usage Guidelines

​

  • Placement: The Ability Training Awards CPD logo must be placed in a prominent position at the beginning and end of each accredited episode or series.

  • Size and Visibility: The logo should be of sufficient size to be clearly visible and legible.

  • Accompanying Text: Accompany the logo with a statement such as: “This episode/series is accredited for CPD by Ability Training Awards.”(this can be included in show notes, or description etc)

  • Integrity: The logo must not be altered or distorted in any way.

  • Branding Consistency: Use the logo in accordance with the Ability Training Awards branding guidelines to ensure consistency.

By adhering to these guidelines, you can ensure that each episode or series meets the high standards required for CPD accreditation by Ability Training Awards.

 

Single podcast episode /video  or stand-alone YouTube type video = £50

Single webinar event  1 hour duration £50 per event per day (recordings count as one event)

Webinar content of 1 hour duration £200 can be used unlimited times for 12 months

Series 12 months - Podcast and/or video series for 12 months £1500
